RUST-PREVENTIVE AGENT AND RUST-PREVENTIVE COMPOSITION FOR KNEADED CEMENT MIXTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a good rust-preventive effect on a cement mixture having high chlorine content even by the addition of a small amount of a preventive agent by using an agent containing a specific dicarboxylic acid compound and slag. SOLUTION: A conventional cement is compounded with 0.1-5wt.% of a dicarboxylic acid compound having a >=2C hydrophobic group and 5-50wt.% of slag or a chlorine-containing cement is compounded with 0.3-10wt.% of a dicarboxylic acid compound having a Si2C hydrophobic group and 5-50wt.% of slag. The setting of the cement mixture can be controlled by this process to keep a work life of >=2hr in terms of setstarting time without exerting adverse effect on the strength of the cured material.
