<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a switching means requiring a setting area by providing a supplementing means in a storing means. CONSTITUTION:An article supply device is constituted of a stocker 300 capable of moving an optional one of pallets P stored in the longitudinal direction to a fixed drawing out position, a positioning device 500 to draw the moved pallet P out of the main body of the stocker 300 and a buffer 400 to temporarily stock a plural number of the pallets P in a state where they are separated from each other. Additionally, a supplementing means to switch a pallet with a short article in the stocker 300 with a new pallet of the buffer 400 at the time when there is the pallet on which the article is short is found in the stocker 300 is provided in the stocker 300. At the time when a pallet is drawn out of the stocker 300 from the positioning device 500, the supplementing means is controlled so that the pallet from the inside of the stocker 300 is exchanged with a new pallet of the buffer 400.</p> |
