<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit strength and weakness of the brake operation to a following vehicle by increasing or decreasing the number of emitters arranged on the rear wall of an automobile into an arched shape, to be turned on from one point of the arched shape to the end according to the degree of strength of the braking operation. SOLUTION: A wall surface 19 whose upper part has an arched shape is formed on the rear surface, and brake lamps 20 are arranged on the wall surface 19 into an arched shape in which a part on the lower side lacks, namely, opened downward. In the brake lamps 20, many independent small chambers are arranged on the wall surface 19 into an arched shape, a resin cover is provided, and bulbs and emitters 21 of light emitting elements are attached in it. The emitters 21 emit light so as to extend or contract the length of the light beams according to the degree of strength of braking or so as to increase or decrease the lighting areas. The lamps are sequentially turned on from one end of an arched shape toward the other end along the arched shape according to the degree of strength of the operation. In the operation with 80% or more of force of full braking, all lamps are turned on. A controller judges the degree of strength of the brake operation on the basis of signals of a sensor, and it turns on many emitters 21 on the basis of the judgement when the brake operation it strong.</p> |
