发明名称 ANTISTATIC POLYESTER FIBER
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce an antistatic polyester fiber excellent in antistatic function. SOLUTION: A polymer mainly composed of ethylene terephthalate containing 0.5-5wt.% a polyalkylene glycol and 0.1-2wt.% an organic sulfonic acid metal salt as antistatic agent is melt-spun under the following conditions: (A) the time required for the polymer to pass through a single hole volume V1 expressed by the product of the opening area S1 of a single hole of a spinneret and the length L2 of the single hole is 3 millisecond or more, (B) the discharging linear velocity V0 of the polymer from the single hole of the spinneret is <=800cm/min, and (C) the ratio Vsp /V0 of the winding speed Vsp of the discharging filament to the discharging linear velocity V0 of the polymer from the single hole of the spinneret is >=200. The resultant filament is once cooled below the glass transition temperature of the filament, allowed to pass through a heating zone whose temperature is equal or higher than the glass transition temperature and lower than the melting point and wound up at 3500-6000m/min. Thus, a number of isolated phases of polyalkylene glycol oriented in the direction of the fiber axis, which has an average phase distance of <=0.2×m and the ratio of the number of continuous phases to that of isolated phases of >=30%, are formed in the obtained fiber.
