PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cable traction jig capable of rapidly and easily accomplishing traction end formation work without adversely affecting the coated fibers of a cable and without requiring special skill. SOLUTION: This jig is used to pull the cable 10 by mounting a caulking sleeve 14 to the end of the high-tensile wire 12 of the cable. The end of a traction end jig body 18 is continuously formed with an insertion groove hole 20 for the cable high-tensile wire 12 and a fitting groove hole 22 for the caulking sleeve 14 by imparting a difference in level therebetween. A closing cover which opens and closes at least the aperture of the fitting groove hole 22 of the caulking sleeve 14 is held energized in a normally closed direction and is mounted at the traction end jig body 18. A bracket 42 for connection, such as traction rope, is mounted at the traction end jig body 18 and this bracket 43 is made freely rotatable by means of a ball joint 38 with respect to the jig body 18. |
