PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the proper operation of a digital device by subtracting a repeat input data signal from a reference signal, generating a difference value signal, comparing the signal with the maximum and minimum values, generating a running range value and generating an error signal when each limit is exceeded. SOLUTION: The smallest threshold is loaded to a register 24. An integrated range value is loaded to a range 26. An running value is compared with a difference value signal DIFF. A running adder circuit 32 subtracts a difference value from the running value, inputs the result to one of input terminals of a multiplexer 30 and also inputs the signal DIFF to the other input terminal of the multiplexer 30. The output signal is inputted as a new running value to the register 24. When the difference signal is larger than the running value, it is written as a running value to the running register 24. The running value is compared with the integrated range value and when the value exceeds the integrated range value, an error signal is generated. |
