The invention concerns a watch frame with a sealed case (1) capable of being economically manufactured in hard materials, the parts of the case being kept assembled by an external supporting device (2) provided with means for fastening to a watchband (3) or to any other fixing element. The case (1) consists of stacked parts comprising preferably a crystal (7), a ring-shaped middle (9) and a base (8). The mutual contact surfaces (13, 14, 15, 17) of these parts are polished and devoid of sealing lining. The supporting device comprises two parallel metal brackets (25) in the shape of an open or closed frame, with two portions assembled by screws (28) axially arranged for locking the case in the bracket. The case (1) can be entirely made of sapphire, but other materials with sealed porosity or non-porous such as hard metals, ceramics or glass can also be used.
