A heat-transfer liquid flows through the exchanger (10), whose housing (11) forms an air-guide (11). The exchanger sections (18-48) have fans (17-47) in between them, and each section is divided by an air-guide plate, so as to form two separate portions through which air-flow takes place. Rotation of the fans can be reversible, and alternate ones can be turned through 180 degrees, and their outputs can be adjustable. They can be of the axial-flow type, with axes parallel to that of the exchanger.
