The unit encompasses a high-pressure differential cylinder (3), a servo-valve (5) and a compact, multi-function valve (1) that serves as check- and relief-valve. A tappet (20) which is rigidly arranged at the side of the piston component (7) adjacent to a globe valve (16), cooperates with a cam component (21) so as to travel within a housing (8) between an operating and a service position. The cam component can be switched from the service position to the operating position in the discharging mouth of the delivery pipe (P), leaving a free through passage for the hydraulic medium. The cam component can thus provide a direct connection between the return line (R) and the pressure intake (P1) to the servo-valve.
