Fixing mechanism for positioning cylindrical electronic device

The fixing mechanism (1) consists of a ring-shaped fastener (3a) which can be moved and turned round a casing (4) with a lengthwise slot (9) in the axial direction (A). A ring-shaped insert (5) in the case takes up an electronic device (19). The ring-shaped insert has one or more studs (11). By engaging the studs in the slot and then displacing and/or turning the fastening ring a force acts on the stud which clamps it to the electronic device.
