Through the heating pipes (3) or plates of the radiator a framework is formed which preferably is a rigidly fixed piece of furniture or parts of it like the peripheral edges. A valve (2) for shutting off the inlet or for heating level control is located above the inlet. The valve is fitted in the upper region, and preferably in the upper quarter of the frame, with regard to the height of the frame. A rigidly assembled shelf is formed by the heating pipes or plates.
