Method of decomposing solid matter particles in fluidised bed

The fluid stream introduced into the bed has a solution saturated with a gas. The state of saturation is reached under a pressure which is considerably higher than that in the bed (1), and pressure release takes place in sudden bursts during entry into the fluidised bed. Both fluid components are water, and the gas is carbon dioxide. The high energy gas stream for entry into the fluidised bed also contains solid matter particles and these are removed before applying the gas stream to the fluidised bed.
