The electrical heating cost allocation device has a heating body sensor for determining the heating body surface temp., an ambient temp. sensor, a measurement value evaluation circuit with an analogue-to-digital converter , microcomputer and display device and a measurement error correction device. The circuit operates as a two-sensor device if the ambient temp. is less than a defined temp. level and as a single sensor device if the ambient temp. exceeds the defined temp. level.
