Disclosed is an apparatus and method for testing after using nuclear fuel. The apparatus comprises a camera, plural reflecting mirrors and a nuclear fuel handler. The plural reflecting mirrors reflect the light from an object in the water to the camera. In the method, a sequential fuel information is acquired from the camera when the nuclear fuel is elevated by the nuclear fuel handler. Thereby, the test can be precisely performed.
