The assembly to clean and/or disinfect medical or dental instruments, esp. hand pieces, has a common carrier (75) for a number of plug couplings (85a-85c) to hold them. The plug couplings (85a-85c) are in several rows on a common carrier (75), laterally displaced between rows. A second feed line (58a,58f) for the plug couplings (85a-85c) can be connected to a pressure supply, to pass through the coupling and link to at least one fluid channel of the inserted hand piece, to deliver compressed air. The supply unit has its own pressure supply as a pressure container or a pressurised spray bottle. An air heater is at the two feed lines (57,58) as an electrical air heater in the compressed air line with a branch connection (31a2) to link them together or to the air heater. A further compressed air line, connected to the first line (57) can be connected selectively to the pressure supply.
