<p>A lightweight rack structure (10) is provided for use in a space station. The rack (10) includes a deployable/folding rigid front frame (22) including two side rails (28a, 28b) and upper and lower cross members (24, 26) connected to the two side rails (28a, 28b). A flexible shell (12) is connected to the front frame (22). The shell (12) includes an upper wall portion (16), a lower wall portion (18), a pair of side wall portions (14a, 14b) and a rear wall portion (20). Support members (66, 68) are provided to support the flexible shell (12) in a deployed position.</p> |
