The heated air is aimed at the inside surface of the windscreen (1), while the wiper blades are parked against the windscreen below the bottom horizontal line along which it is glued into place. This portion is adjacent to a hot-air conduit. Separate hot-air currents are delivered to the windscreen above and below the glue line. Part of the conduit (8) below this line can be formed by the front wall (5) of the passenger space.
