Disclosed is a voice processing device for an information providing system for an excellent intelligent network only comprising a parallel port means(15) which is used for communication with the information providing system(IP)(23), a memory means(18) which stores the program received from the information providing system(23) via the parallel port menas(21), a PCM conversion means(12) which converts an analog audio signal input via an external audio input means and converts the input PCM signal into a analog signal and outputs that as an external audio output means, and a DSP(Digital Signal Processing) means(11) which receives a PCM signal converted by the PCM conversion means(12) and converts into ADPCM signal and transmits to the parallel port means(21), converts the ADPCM signal into a PCM signal and provides to the PCM conversion means(12), demodulates a DTMF signal of a PCM method input via TI interface and transmits to the parallel port portion. Thus, the voice processing device satisfy the audio level which is required in a telephone network and the volume of a audio data can be decreased.
