The invention relates to an apparatus for straightening spoked wheels. The straightening of spoked wheels has been proven to take up much time in the straightening apparatus when the spokes (2) of said wheels are loose. The apparatus and method bring improvement by screwing on the nipples in such a manner that a nipple is not screwed too far onto the spokes.
