<p>A snail bait holder and pest trap (10) in which a removably attached cover (12) is seated on a vessel (11) to form a bait chamber (14). An impervious replaceable tray (25) is positioned in the bait chamber (14). The tray (25) has a receptacle (27) and contained within the receptacle (27) of the tray (25) is a layer of liquid adhesive (29). Disposed on the layer of liquid adhesive (29) within the receptacle (27) is a layer of bait material (30) which adheres to the layer of liquid adhesive (29). Vessel walls (15a-15d) are cut away to form ramps (20) and openings (17) for pests to travel over the ramps (20) through the openings (17) and into the bait chamber (14). The tray (25) containing the bait (30) and liquid adhesive (29) is packaged for placement in the bait chamber (14) with a thin film (31) disposed over the tray (25). Before the tray (25) with the bait (30) and liquid adhesive (29) is placed in the bait chamber (14), the thin film (31) is removed from the tray (25). <IMAGE></p> |
