发明名称 CATALYST FOR PREPARING CYCLOHEXANONE BY DEHYDROGENATION OF CYCLOHEXANOL AND PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION THEREOF
摘要 The invention relates to a catalyst and its production of cyclohexanone by dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol without using much copper. The catalyst has excellent activity and selectivity for the dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol. Silica of weak acidity and high surface area is used as a carrier for dispersing metallic copper; the copper salt is precipitated as a hydroxide and alkaline more than pH 9 on the silica gel carrier using a copper salt solution ; the acid center of the carrier surface is neutralized and the copper is dispersed as minute granules on the surface of the carrier. Silica powder is added in the water solution of 0.01-4.0 molecular density copper; the solution is heated to 20-95 deg.C; the alkaline water solution is dropped as droplets for the copper salt to precipitate as copper hydroxide on the surface of the silica gel; when the pH of the alkaline solution reaches 7-11 after 2-10 hours, the solution is filtered, and the filtered catalyst is dried without washing, formed into globules of 5-8 mm in diameter, oxidized for 4-12 hours by slow rising temperature (25-300 deg.C), and reduced in a reactor at 200-300 deg.C to finally get the catalyst. The equilibrium conversion rate is more than 90%, and the selectivity for the cyclohexanone is more than 99%.
