The invention offers a polyurethane hose cutting device for towing type sonars providing easy cutting and good air tightness by maintaining the cut surface that contacts the connector uniform and smooth regardless of high pressure or tension. The sonar(1) consists of a sensor(2), cable(3), and tail rope(17); sensor(2) which has a vibration separating module(9), data link module(11), sound module(13), and array stabilizing module(15); a hose cutter(21) having a tension fixture unit(22) with socket(38), sleeve(30), hose(20), collect(34), and handle(36); and a cutting knife(24) having an annular bracket(26), body(40), slider(48), adjusting handle(44), and blade(50). The device improves water tightness.
