<p>An injection moulded bobbin (1') for an electromagnet of an electromagnetic clutch (400) used for a refrigerant compressor (500) for an automotive air conditioning system includes a cylinder (2') and two flanges (3',4'), each extending radially outward from the an end of the cylinder (2'). The two flanges (3',4') have several deep excisions (31,31',31",41,41',41") at locations equidistant from an adjacent pair of injection gate receiving points. The excisions (31,41) extend from outer fringes of the flanges (31,41) inward direction almost reaching to the outer edge of the cylinder (21). A plurality of shallow excisions (30,40) also are provided along the outer edge of the flanges (3',4') to enable the resin (160) to spread in a laminar flow during the potting process of the core assembly (100) which is composed of the core (150) and coil assembly (101). <IMAGE></p> |
