The foundry ladle sliding gate comprises a housing (22), a fixed head plate (K2) and a slide plate (K1) which can move relative to the head plate and is for that purpose secured within a slide frame (20) which slides relative to the housing (22) and can be forced by spring elements (10) against the head plate (K2). The slide frame (20) is in the form of a trough whose top longitudinal borders (17) project laterally outwards and include sliding surfaces (18, 19) which during operation match sliding surfaces (18, 19) on the housing side (22). To prevent contamination of the sliding surfaces (18, 19) the measure is used, which is based on that a slide plate (K1) is through the means of spring elements (10), particularly thermo-dynamic spring elements (10) foldable to the head plate (K2) and bottom (23) of the slide frame (20) in the shape of the tank is made by the bearing bridges or plates for spring elements (10) arranged between this bottom (23) and slide plate (K1), whilst the area between these bearing bridges or plates and the area between the bearing bridges or plates and outer edges of the bottom (23) are freely passable.
