<p>The present invention relates to a method for surface processing a glass plate and the like, comprising the step of sandblasting at least a surface of the glass plate in order to render this surface uneven and porous, applying on the sandblasted surface a plastic material or paint layer having a gripping function and further applying, on this plastic material or paint layer, an ornamental pattern penetrating at least partially the plastic material or paint gripping layer.
