<p>The method and the device can be applied in communicationsengineering for radio signal containing data from a forecastablyrepeated preset bit combination (FRPBC) and at least oneinformation package with a preset time. The aerial systems haveuncorrelated sensitivities and the signal/noise ratio is improvedin the electromagnetic changing environment. The method consistsin the fact that during the FRPBC, the aerial systems arealternatively selected as a temporary source of radio signal. Foreach of them the number of bit errors are determined, which arecompared. The aerial system having the lowest number of errors isselected as a permanent source of radio signal. The strength ofthe received radio signal is also measured for every aerialsystem, and in case of equal errors, the system having thestrongest signal is selected as a permanent source. It ispossible, in case of difference of errors, to measure the strengthof the received radio signal during the time of the informationpackage, and to select, as a permanent source, the system havingthe smallest number of errors and having signal strength which isthe smallest of a preset threshold level. The device contains twoaerial systems (102, 104) connected across an aerial switch (106)to a receiver (110) connected both directy and across a decoder(11) to a processor (114) having connection, on one side, withswitch (106), indicator (115) of the strength of the radio signalin the receiver (110), the selection control (126), to asignallizer (122) with a display (124), and on the other side to atwo-way connection to RAM (118) and ROM (120).</p> |
