The invention refers to a low voltage cartridge fuse designed for the protection of electrical circuits, devices and apparatus. The low voltage cartridge fuse has a fuse tube (1), an extinguishing medium (2) and some caps that act as contact pieces. The fuse elements (3) have at one end an area (a) folded in a circular arc. The fuse elements are folded longitudinally around a semi-cylindrical surface, and are mounted face to face to form two semi-cylindrical areas that are coaxial with the inner surface of the fuse tube. The ends (b) of the fuses are bonded to retaining pieces (4) which have rectangular holes (c) cut in their centre for bonding the ends (b) of the fuses and have two hooks (d) at the sides for centering them on the end of the fuse tube (1).
