Disclosed is a double back cover apparatus of a camera. The apparatus comprises a main back cover(1), a sub back cover(20) and a light-cut shield(23). In the sub back cover(20), a light-cut shield(23) cuts the external light, and a plate spring(9) having s roller(11) is installed. The sub back cover(20) is elastically installed by a tension spring(22). The light-cut shield(23) includes a roller(10) which contacts with a spool(7). Thereby, the light incidence into the film can be prevented even though the main back cover(1) is opened by an user's mistake.
