The press button (1) activated to provide a link between the tyre and pressure gauge has an elongated shape with a slotted collar (8) enclosing the valve body (2). In the pressure measuring position the slots are moved downwards to lie around a stop in the valve casing, and when the button is not depressed the slots and collar can be rotated into a position to one side of the stop, preventing accidental depression of the button and subsequent air leakage. |
