Alkaline paste dextrin and a vinyl polar monomer or its saponaceous material were graft-polymerized in the ratio of 1.0-40.0%, followed by swelling at 120-250 deg. C, in the range of 8-25% moisture. 0.1-20.0 % of one or more component selected from monoglyceride, polyethylene vinyl acetate, glycerol, glycine, dioctyl phthalate and urea were added in the graft polymer to give flexibilities and recovery properties.
