PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a writing property, which is nearly the same as that of plain paper, prevent from curling and make a high speed and high resolution recording possible by a method wherein colors are developed in a coloring agent of a recording paper by applying heat energy without contacting with the one layered recording paper, which is prepared by adding a coloring agent to a base paper component. SOLUTION: When a pulsed light is applied from a semiconductor laser 6, to which light is condensed by a condensing lens 7, to a recording material 1, the temp rature of an irradiated portion of a pulp fiber 2-containing recording material 1 rises quickly. Due to this temperature rise, an electron donable component 4 and an electron acceptable component 5 are melted and reacted with each other, resulting in developing color. After that, when the irradiation of the semiconductor laser 6 is gone, the material quickly cools down. However the developed color is retained. By prolonging the irradiation time of the irradiating semiconductor laser 6 at this time, a region, which is heated and reaches a coloring temperature, is widen, resulting in allowing to control the magnitude of a recording spot. Further, by enlarging the absorption coefficient to the coloring wave length of the semiconductor laser 6 of the recording material 1, an energy is efficiently absorbed and an efficient color development results. |
