Disclosed is a lumbar support device for a car seat. The device is simple and flexible in structure. The lumbar support comprises a number of elastic pads arranged at the back of the structural frame(21), a traction frame(30) that helps the bottom of the elastics pads to move to the top. The structural frame(21) is composed of a wire mesh so as to accommodate the deflection of elastic pads(22). The traction frame(30) is constructed of guides(31,31a), a wire(32) that penetrates the upper guide(31), an adjusting knob(33) that rotates to one side of the backrest frame(11) and a traction part(31a) that reciprocates according to the turning of the adjusting knob(33). The device relieves the fatigue of the passengers and improves productivity.
