PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the leaked amount of lubricant with a change of rotating angle, and to prevent the generation of damage due to scoring by forming a gear shape of rotors of an elliptic gear type flowmeter, which are to be engaged with each other, of an involute tooth and a tooth shape similar with the involute tooth. SOLUTION: In a pair of elliptic gear rotor, a pair of elliptic pitch line rotated for extension without generating a slip is formed of a curve, which is drawn by obtaining length P1 of a radius vector in a polar coordinate on the basis of a an expression I and direction angleθ, on the basis of a the expression II, and a similar curve thereof, namely a curve, of which directional angleθ2 of the length P2 of the radius vector is obtained on the basis of the expression IV, and III other curve to be engaged with this curve in the case where (a), (b), (c) means a numeric related with length and (d) means a positive integer from 0 to 1, (x) means independent variable, and (n) means a optional independent variable, andμmean a numeric to be decided on the basis of (a), (b), (c), (d) are pitch lines. Tooth of a short diameter side is formed into a cycloid shape, and tooth of a long diameter side is formed into involute tooth.
