摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a filter membrane of a high tensile strength by graft polymerizing glycidyl methacrylate on a porous base of a copolymer of (poly) olefin and halogenated olefin at the specified grafting ratio, fixing imino diacetate groups in the specified concentration and removing efficiently metallic ions in a water solution. SOLUTION: Glycidyl methacrylate is graft polymerized on a porous base composed of a copolymer of polyolefin or olefin and halogenated olefin at the grafting rate of 130% or less, and imino diacetate group is fixed in the concentration of 1.3mmol/g membrane or more to form a filter membrane. Ionized radiation to be irradiated isαray,βray,γray, accelerating electron rays, X ray, ultraviolet rays or the like. For the purpose of preventing the lowering of tensile strength and the generation of fragility of the porous base, the irradiation dose of ionized radiation is set desirably to be 50kGy or less. The filter membrane is a hollow yarn membrane, and the outer diameter of the hollow yarn membrane is desirably 1mm or less.
