APPARATUS FOR OZONE TREATMENT OF DYED FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for efficient ozone treatment of dyed fabric that is able to outstandingly improve color fastness of the dyed fabric by treatment of a dyed textile running in open width with ozone through a gas phase which contains ozone. SOLUTION: This ozone treatment apparatus for dyed fabric comprises steps of: introducing a dyed polyester fiber fabric 3 into the ozone treatment apparatus 4 through its inlet 2; transferring the fabric in condition of open width through guide rolls 5 or scrapers 8; and discharging the textile out of an outlet 7 while supplying an ozone-containing gas which contains ozone in concentration of 20000ppm. or below from a gas inlet 1 so as to move the gas phase by means of injection nozzles or suction nozzles which are located near the surfaces of the running fabric or by a textile swing means, thus keeping the surfaces of the fabric in efficient contact with ozone.
