PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device with a safe and simple structure by a method wherein an erasable reversible heat-sensitive recording medium is heated as being conveyed under the condition being pinched between a rotating heating roll and a belt, which urges against the heating roll. SOLUTION: In a heating roll 2, a heater 1 is built. A belt 5 is spanned on two belt supporting rolls 3 and 3' and a tension roll 4 so as to be urged against the heating roll 2. The surface temperature of the heating roll 2 is measured with a temperature sensor 6 so as to be set with a temperature controlling device at a certain temperature laying within the range of 70-100 deg.C. A reversible heat-sensitive recording medium (or a heat-sensitive paper) 15 is pinched between the belt 5 and the heating roll 2 so as to be heated under closely contactingly conveyed state. Due to the above- mentioned structure, the time, during which the heat-sensitive paper 15 is contacting with the heating roll 2, becomes longer, resulting in allowing to be surely heated up to an erasing temperature and held. Thus, the sure erasion in the transparentizing temperature region of the heat-sensitive paper 15 can be realized. In the same time, the prevention of the coloring due to overheating and the enhancement of safety can be realized. |
