The pin is for retaining kitchen unit modules in recesses in a fixed frame. It projects from lateral walls of the units to prevent from sliding forward, out of the recess. A flange (24) and boss (19) support a screw in a recess in the lateral wall of the unit. The end of the screw is pointed to locate in the frame wall. Two jaws (26) slide radially in a slot (25) in the boss and have threaded inner faces to engage the threads on the screws. An annular spring surrounds the jaw assembly and maintains contact between screw and jaw threads. If the screw is overtightened, the jaws slide apart and allow a slip of one thread.
