METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING DESULFURIZATION DRAINAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate desulfurization drainage into industrial waste and clarified water (industrial water) by concentrating the drainage by passing through a reverse osmosis membrane. SOLUTION: In a method, desulfurization drainage is subjected to pretreatment, obtained treated water is concentrated by passing through a reverse osmosis membrane, and clarified water is obtained. An apparatus is equipped with a coagulation-precipitation tank 10 in which a coagulant is added into the drainage and the precipitate is removed, a filter 12 for removing suspended substances in the obtained suspension, a reverse osmosis device 14 for concentrating the obtained treated liquid and obtaining clarified water. The concentrated liquid from the reverse osmosis membrane device 14 is evaporated further by an evaporator 16, and the concentrated substances are dried by a drier 18 or solidified by a solidifying apparatus so that the concentrated liquid can be separated into a solid and clarified water.
