<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an examinee to move easily even in a small examination room and easily take a position characteristic of endoscopic examination, for efficient examination. SOLUTION: A bed 3 comprises a backrest part 10, a waist rest part 20, and a leg rest part 30, with a leg rest part frame 31 and a backrest part frame 11 freely rotationally connected to the rotating shaft 24 of a waist rest part frame 21. The frames 11, 31 that freely rotate relative to the frame 21 and a turning stay 25 constitute a link mechanism. The sliding shaft 41 of a gas spring 40 is secured to the frame 21 at one end and to the frame 11 at the other. The sliding shaft 41 of the gas spring 40 is made to freely expand and contract so as to turn the frame 11 relative to the frame 21 to hold the chair at a desired angle. In addition, as the backrest part 10 is reclined the leg rest part 30 and a foot rest part 35 operate in conjunction with the backrest part 10 to make the bed horizontal.</p> |
