<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet metal-made exhaust manifold in which early activation of a catalyst is easy as well as to reduce the weight by decreasing the whole thickness while securing sufficient strength and rigidity. SOLUTION: An exhaust manifold in which cylinders are divided into two cylinder groups whose exhaust strokes are not continues is composed of exhaust pipe parts 21, 22, 23, 24 respectively communicated with respective cylinders, merge parts 26 in which the exhaust pipe parts 21, 22, 23, 24 are merged by each cylinder group, and a collecting part 27 in which respective merge parts 26 are collected. The exhaust manifold 20 is constituted by getting butted against three sheet metal-made members of a front half body 31, a partition body 32, and a back half body 33 to one another, the exhaust pipe parts 21, 22, 23, 24 and the merge parts 26 are formed of either the front half body 31 or the back half body 33 and the partition plate 32, and the collecting part 27 is formed of the front half body 31 and the back half body 33.</p> |
