<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deoxidizing agent of superior oxygen absorption power which is not reacted with a metal detector, protects a breathing wrapping material sealing the deodorizing agent from being exposed to the oozing of water and getting bulky and generates little heat regeneration or heat development following the deoxidizing reaction. SOLUTION: In a deodorizing agent containing one kind or more of a low- molecular phenol compound, an alkaline compound containing an anhydrous salt and/or crystalline water of dihydrous salt or less, additive water, and if required, a metallic hydroxide, the amounts of the water content of 0.55-3.0 pts.wt. and the metallic hydrogen oxide of 0.01-5.0 pts.wt. are applied for blending them with a low-molecular phenol compound or 1.0 pts.wt., and pH of 35.0wt.% water dispersion of the above-referred deoxidizing agent is 8.1 or higher, and the amount of the alkaline compound in an anhydrous state to the water content of 1.0 pts.wt. is 2.0 pts.wt. or less.</p> |
