PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal type compressor to hold high seal performance of lubricating oil without being troubled by high-precise management of a gap at a labyrinth seal, improve reliability, reduce a cost, and provide simple structure. SOLUTION: In a centrifugal air-compressor wherein air in an axial intake passage is pressurized by a centrifugal force in the radial direction by an impeller 1 rotated by receiving a power through a boosting device and discharged through a pressure volute 2 in the peripheral direction, by forming an introduction port 10 for communicating a pressure of discharge air to the back of the impeller 1, in a passage running to the pressure volute 2, the pressure of the back air chamber 19 of the impeller 1 is made higher than the pressure of the bearing lubrication part 5 of the impeller 1 through a piston seal 9.
