PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dignity of a fuel injection valve and reliability of a function by providing both functions of a guide function and a filter function to only one member. SOLUTION: In a fuel injection valve of a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine, a guide disc 33 having a plurality of functions by integration of structural means is provided upstream from a valve seat 31. This guide disc is provided with a filter function in addition to a guide function of a valve needle 22 to be moved in the axial direction. Accordingly, a filter opening 44 having impermeability in relation to solid particles having the size of 60μm or more is provided in the guide disc 33. The fuel injection valve is suitable for use in the fuel injecting device of a mixture compressing-type spark-ignition internal combustion engine.
