PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flowability, contact with a substrate, and covering the substrate by minimizing a solvent which is contained in a unsupported nonsticky sufficiently imidized film of a tape. SOLUTION: A polyimide obtd. by reacting an arom. acid dianhydride with a diamine in an equivalent ratio of (1:2)-(2:1) is used. Suitable examples of the dianhydride are 4,4'-oxydiphthalic dianhydride (ODPA), 4,4'- biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride, and their mixture. The diamine is pref. an arom. diamine [e.g. 2,4-diaminotoluene (TDA) or 4,4'-oxydianiline (ODA)], and an example of a siloxanediamine usable is represented by the formula (R, R<1> , and R<2> are a mono-, a di-, and a trivalent group, respectively, and are each a 1-12C aliph. or 6-10C arom. group). The polyimide is used to obtain an unsupported nonsticky tape which has a degree of imidization of 90-100%, contains about 1-30wt.% solvent, and has a release film stuck to one side thereof. |
