UNDILUTED SOLUTION COMPOSITION OF WATER-SOLUBLE LUBRICANT FOR IRONING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an undiluted solution composition of a water-soluble lubricant for ironing capable of not only providing a high quality DI can but also accomplishing improvement of treatment of the waste water. SOLUTION: This undiluted solution composition of a water-soluble lubricant for ironing is used when a metal plate is subjected to cupping by using a water- insoluble lubricant for the cupping having 5-70 mm<2> /s dynamic viscosity at 40 deg.C, and further subjected to ironing, or redrawing and ironing by using the water-soluble lubricant for the ironing to form a DI can. The undiluted solution composition includes (1) an ester of a 6-16C aliphatic carboxylic acid and a polyfunctional alcohol or (2) an ester of mixed aliphatic carboxylic acids comprising a 18C aliphatic carboxylic acid and a 6-16C aliphatic carboxylic acid, with a polyfunctional alcohol.
