摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leak of the mix, which is filled in a can material, during the manufacturing process by providing one or more stripes having a specified width, which are not coated with carbon, in the axial direction of circumference of an inner surface of a metal positive electrode can material of an alkaline dry battery. SOLUTION: A positive electrode can material 1 made of metal is rotated, and while colloidal liquid carbon 3 is injected for coating to the inner surface of the positive electrode can material from a gun nozzle 2, and dried so as to form a carbon film. At this stage, opening and closing of the nozzle 2 is controlled so that the time for jetting the carbon 3 from the nozzle 2 is set shorter than the time for rotating the can material 1 once, and a part H, which is not formed with a film, is thereby provided. The part H, which is formed with at least one or more stripes having a width at 1-2mm in the axial direction, generates the friction resistance between the can material 1 and the previously formed mix so as to prevent the generation of positional displacement due to a loose-out of the mix during the manufacturing process. Consequently, correction of positional displacement is unnecessary, and lowering of productivity is prevented, and conductivity between the can material and the mix is improved.
