PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed type roller bearing of a rolling mill which is protected from entering of water or the like into the bearing at the time of the operation stop and low speed rotation of the rolling mill. SOLUTION: In this sealed type roller bearing, by arranging superimposing plural inside annular bodies having an outward flange in the end part of an inner race, superimposing plural outside annular bodies having an inward flange in the axial direction and arranging them concentrically with the inside annular bodies and alternately arranging the outward flange and the inward flange so that the outward flange is situated in both end parts in the axial direction, a noncontact sealing device which is made into a labrynth by a clearance between these flanges is formed. In such a case, by bringing the outer peripheral part of the outward flange 5a of the inside annular body 5 which is situated between the inward flanges 7a, 8a of two adjacent outside annular bodies 7, 8 into slide-contact with the inner peripheral part of at least one outside annular body 8 of the two outside annular bodies 7, 8, a contact-seal part 16 is formed in the non-contact sealing device 10 and at least one peripheral surface side of the inside annular body 5 and the outside annular body 8 in this slide-contact part is made from a lubricative non-metallic base stock. |
