PURPOSE:To obtain the sensor which has a high sensitivity and wide use range, facilitates taking out of radio waves and is excellent for bioadaptability by coating electrodes consisting of impurity-contg. conductive diamond or the like formed on a base body with an enzyme-contg. conductive resin layer by a vapor phase method. CONSTITUTION:This sensor is constituted by coating the electrodes 3 consisting of the impurity-contg. conductive diamond or the like formed on the base body 1 with the enzyme-contg. conductive resin layer by the vapor phase method. Current is passed by the progression of an enzyme reaction when a voltage is impressed between a pair of the electrodes 3. The kind, reaction rate, etc. of the enzyme reaction are detected by detecting this current.
