PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a required discharge oil quantity in accord with operational conditions as curtailing power consumption, in a device which is always driving an oil pump with a motor. SOLUTION: A power transmission device 8 for vehicles is equipped with an oil pump 83 driven by a motor 84 as a hydraulic power source of line pressure for engaging control over those of frictional engaging elements CF, CD, C0 to C2 and B0 to B3 and lubrication pressure for lubricating every part of a mechanism, and its controller 3C, respectively. In this constitution, acceleration information on a vehicle is inputted into this controller 3C, rotational frequency of the motor 84 is controlled so as to make a discharge oil quantity of the oil pump 83 come to an oil quantity capable of outputting the line pressure and the lubrication pressure conformed to the acceleration information. |
