<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet sorter capable of not only reliably moving its sheet housing and but also reducing its costs. SOLUTION: A sorter 10 lifts or lowers its sorter bin 68 by rotating shafts 54 and 56 with a DC motor 80 controlled by a controller 92. When the sorter bin 68 is to be lifted or lowered to side a second discharge part 52, the controller 92 applies the maximum voltage to the DC motor 80 to suddenly accelerate it to its predetermined rotational speed and then suddenly decelerate it. That control extremely shortens the moving period of the sorter bin 68.</p> |
